iOS & MacOS Rapid Security Updates Released

All installed without incident.

I haven’t seen any new updates today, when were these released? Maybe news sources are still on weekend schedules… ??

Ahh, spotted on devices, not publications… Will attack later today…

Completed, I find it odd that none of the usual publications noticed it, I had no Notification, either, something’s broke in the rumor mill!

Aha, here they are…

Thanks… weco

Except that now Facebook does not recognize Safari now as a supported browser and puts my Mac in mobile mode. I suspect that Apple must have locked something up in this security update that Facebook formerly had access to and now doesn’t - hence a limited browsing experience.

Actually, at the end of the article in post above, there are more and more comments about this exact situation… Maybe hold off if you are a devote Facebook user.

Hoping that it gets resolved, as mobile mode on a full screen doesn’t cut it.

Exactly what I’m seeing… So FireFox for Facebook, so far all the others seem OK…

I’m not up for installing another browser unless I really have to. I reported it to apple in the Safari app section. Hopefully, it’ll get resolved shortly…

FWIW, my iPhone didn’t even need to be rebooted. And since I never use Facebook, and barely ever use Safari, not issues there.

I keep Safari, FireFox & Chrome on board just for these situations, each has their own quirks, but handy to check when there’s a problem…

Evidently, overnight, Facebook found their error, fixed it, so now it works as usual in Safari…
