My wife, two younger children and I are enjoying an evening at the Big East baseball championship tournament. Great seats, good ballpark food, a sunny late afternoon, and some pretty decent baseball.
It’s a fun experience, made even nicer by the price tag: $0.00. The tournament is being held at Prasco Park. That ballpark offers free (albeit limited) parking, free admission, and free concessions.
It’s a fun — and definitely budget-friendly — way to spend a Friday evening, cheering on my Alma Mater, the Xavier Musketeers.

That sounds like an absolutely perfect way to spend a Friday evening, Chuck — sunshine, baseball, and family time all wrapped up in one (and for $0.00? Can’t beat that!). I’ve heard great things about Prasco Park, but I didn’t realize they offered free everything — that’s almost unheard of these days.
Glad to hear you’re getting to support your alma mater in such a great setting. Go Musketeers!

For me, enjoying days like this—baseball games, family time—doesn’t have to clash with living below my means. I plan ahead, grab discounted tickets, and pack my own snacks. Experiences don’t have to be expensive to be meaningful. It’s all about priorities—financial goals and personal joy can absolutely coexist if you’re intentional with your spending. Спросить ChatGPT
