This portfolio is what is in my family’s non-taxable Roth and Rollover IRAs only. It contains the bulk of what we’ll live on during retirement. We have not added any money to these accounts for many years. To buy something I’ve sold something else. I don’t trade options or use any leverage. I stay fully invested at all times and keep, on average, less than 1% in cash.
What I did this month:
Basically, I sold some from what I had to buy Pure Storage and Samsara.
Why I did it:
I detailed why as I did so.
My take aways from this year, so far: I’d rather be lucky than smart.
A couple examples:
1.)My timing on when I got into Tesla, January this year! It was due to Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt in the market, despite complete market domination😂.
2.)MongoDB remains on my watch list, it’s not because of share price appreciation.
