Given the extremely high cost of caring for dementia patients (and the failure of any drug to treat Alzheimer’s disease) lifestyle modifications which reduce the risk of dementia by 40% could have huge Macroeconomic impact.

High blood pressure

Impaired hearing

Smoking

Obesity

Depression

Physical inactivity

Diabetes

Low levels of social contact

Poor, uncorrected eyesight
