50.2% of voters, a clear mandate, said “do it”.

Buckle up.

You can’t say we don’t live in interesting times. These next 4 years should be really interesting.

I am astounded at the things I have seen, from a man walking on the moon, to Nixon resigning, then the long spiral from 1980 to now.

Remember the thrust of the general rants: transfer of wealth to the wealthiest, theocracy, xenophobia, and police state.

That is succinct but accurate summary.

I bet he won’t get confirmed.

You know who was the happiest person to hear this news? Pete Hegseth.

Followed very closely by Kristi Noem.

The odds of both of them getting confirmed likely increased with the nomination of Gaetz.

Someone has to be the one that is the sacrificial lamb.

I like Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence. There is a SNL skit in there somewhere.

I’m holding out for Lara Loomer, Secretary of Education.

I thought that department was going away?

Now he can’t spoil things in Congress. Why else?

LOL

He has to be separated from the Freedom Caucus. He is a vocal leader.

Pete Hegseth won’t be taken serious. The Senate leader is more moderate. They need to keep the Senate intact.

That’s right. Education is old fashioned. We are brave. We can do without that.

It’s called book learnin’ where I come from. In books they teach that man didn’t always walk around on his hind legs.

Ahhh no wonder it’s going away. In the main book they teach that Man walked upright from the beginning and then had to give away a rib.

Question: Were there H. species that didn’t walk on hind legs?

Well before we answer that question Bob I would have to ask you how old do you think the earth is? Because depending on your answer the question could be yes or no.

“Buckle up.”

Let it rip. Let’s get the party started. The 50.2% have spoken louder than the rest of us. Let’s have Inauguration Day early, can’t wait to see how all of this plays out.

(Any Dads or GrandDads of girls 13-17 years old be sure to keep a few hundred miles between them and the next AG.)

Those look like some fancy book words, there.

Nominations that would be DOA in the Senate are not a problem. Remember how the Senate was dealt with in the past? Wait for Congress to go on recess, then appoint people by decree. iirc, that is how Bolton was made ambassador to the UN, among others.

For those that believe Bitcoin isn’t going higher? You do not name a department DOGE unless you like Crypto.

I hope they get what they voted for – good and hard.
