I an interested in batteries (China leads) international travel (South America mostly) Life extension (USA mostly) I can put these interests into an AI and it will spit out people to follow on Youtube and X.

Additionally, X now is a babble fish. Posts that interest me in China, or Argentina show up in English and my replies in English show up in the readers native language.

Right now I am seeing movement in Anti Aging by David Sinclair’s lab and because I follow him I see who he follows. I follow someone that sponsors the X Prize for health. Because of this I see people who are participating in the X prize contest.

The same goes for following fusion (Helion and CFS mostly) solar (although solar is so awesome that it is not moving much and it is waiting on batteries)

Oh, yeah, and AI. There is some much there it is almost impossible to even understand the posts and videos. With AI almost every scientific or technological frontier is moving at the speed of imagination.

I just read a post explaining the agentic use of AI to find drugs. The speed of discovery far outstrips the speed of regulation. So the plan is to go back and “AI” the 10 years of trails.

I cannot tell the future from this point. What I am seeing is chaotic or frenetic or both.

I remember in 1978 driving my Chrysler Cordoba with its 180 hp engine getting 15 miles to the gallon of gas. I remember thinking of ways to improve the gas milage. Ways to make moving checks from Beaumont to Houston for processing cheaper. Ways to type up reports better. Going to the library and pulling up newspapers from many cities to look for jobs in the classifieds. Shopping at music stores for 8 track tapes.

The idea that in 7 years I would have a personal computer and could modem into personal bulletin boards was just not an item. Babble fish was a fantasy and the Universal translator was science fiction.

It is apparent that with Starlink and smart phone with AI apps, every person in the world can now create at the speed of imagination.

Will it be all Star Terkky? No, probably more Firefly or Alien. Still it will be interesting.

I just came off a 3-hour session with Claude. I am getting through this job very fast. At 3 pm, I will do another 3-hour session. Claude limits me, even with their pro level, to 3 hours.

It is not actually a time limit. That is a coincidence. It is what I fit in the Claude window in about three hours, which meets the limit.

I have had to put my foot down early today with Claude. It was reading fast and responding inaccurately. When Claude settled down to double-check its work, the performance improved.

You can ask Claude to rethink things.

I ran out of Claude tokens so was using Grok this morning. At one point I had to tell it was hallucinating because it tried to tell me that the USA had completely closed the Straight and oil was at 180 dollars a barrel.

Generally I have to be very careful that it does not reflect my assumptions or fears back to me as fact.

This is a very new area and we are all learning the capabilities and limitations.
