Different industry but a young friend working in one box store told me last night that every other box store in town is paying $2 per hour more. Half of his crew had left his store.

I expect his stock options should really boost via employee salary freeze along with an increased stock price.

Yes indeed. CEO bonus are usually contractually agreements based on usually on profitability of the corporation and sometimes stock price. What’s the fastest why to increase the bottom line? Slash payroll. Its works in the short term but the corporation will lose the best employees to competitors. But Nadella has kept his senior management happy with 20% pay increases in 2022.
its more senior level employees too by a minimum of 20%
