However I think the best way to do a series hybrid is with a battery large enough to do most of your normal driving, with the gas engine being a “range extender” - something to get you further if you don’t have the ability (time, or access to charger) to recharge the battery. For whatever reason, TMF wants them categorized by board.

I think this is a mistake. Message boards need a certain critical mass of posts and posters, else they start to dwindle and ultimately collapse.

Telsa was a major topic of this board long before the new format, and EVs are definitely a macroeconomic trend.
