A more detailed analysis of the content rules on batteries and raw material sourcing reveals that there my be no current EVs for sale in the US that qualify for the new tax credit regime.
Also, there’s no grace period in the law, so the current $7,500 tax credit ends with the billing signing.

It will be interesting to see if that’s actually what’s intended. After all, the legislation is “West Virginia-friendly”.
