Iāve NOT accessed it since early Nov2024, cause of the low signal-to-noise ratio.
I like surfing YT more, cause I can more easily avoid ānoiseā.
Now, to be fair that NTSB will be using Xā¦
Before I quit accessing X, Iād noted that LOTS of ānewsā was going to X.
X had information and updated before almost anyone else.
If you want āinstantā news, 24/7ā¦ X is your best bet.
Just be prepared for a lot of noise.
So, Iām not surprised to see this.

News yes but for a government agency to only update on X? I could see I will update on X also.
Itās more graft especially when you have the owner working right down the hall. X is a for profit corporation and when a government entity says they will only update on X that means everyone has to belong to X and see their ads. So now X gets more money.
Letās say Bezoās was working in the White House and the white house came out with I am only going to update on the Washington Post?

Does Trad media have a mechanism allowing an entity to upload itās own "news, updates, or content?
X allows whoever to post content.
This eliminates a couple steps, and some ālaborā. And censors.
Community notes can provide additional color.
An entity posts itās ācontentā on X.
WAPO or NYT or WSJ or ? grabs the info from there and posts it to their site.
A press release is a press release is a press release.

So does bluesky. It allows everything X does. So does threads. There are multiple sites that information can be posted. Itās not like X is new. They could have been posting on there for a long time. So why now when Musk is in the whitehouse.
I am, We have a foreigner in the white house, that was not elected, nor appointed, nor being vetted. One who came into the country illegally. Grabbing onto the payment system of the treasury department, sending out notices to government employees, requesting they take a payout. Now having government agencies posting notices on only X.
Yea I have my knickers in a twist and think that it is weird that other people donāt.

You have to pay no matter what. You only think X is free. But there are many other āFreeā sites as I have mentioned. You donāt think that having a man in the white house, that spent 270 million dollars to have the President elected. Running a department that has not been vetted, nor has he gone through any back ground check, nor stood before the Senate for confirmation. Then having his hands in the Treasury that gives him access to over 6 trillion dollars isnāt weird?

My favorite mostly unknown R&R band is a Finnish band with the name Abby Normal in Suomi (the isolate language of Finland) it is Eppu Normaali:
