Could this eventually get good enough to create an AI that can trade on its own and make astronomical returns like Johnny Depp’s character in the movie “Transcendence”? Or will trading AIs one day try to outsmart each other?
I wonder what the impact on Insurance will be. Because it seems to me that many of the factors they factor into pricing (especially for car insurance )are in fact of dubious quality.
OTOH insurance pricing is often as much as they can get away with, based on other companies charges ,not on any real data. AI basically deals with probabilities. Thus any probability related decision process where a large data base is available should benefit.
