NVDA: GTC Japan link; Jetson AGX

The Youtube video of the keynote is now available (above link). It’s a little less than 2 hours.

NVDA also announced the Jetson AGX which is for developers of any robots. I still think that selling brains for devices and sensors at the edge will ultimately be NVDA’s biggest market and provide most of the value increase.

Jensen has been saying for at least a year that software is writing software. He believes that any companies that needs to create software will use AI to assist. In fact, NVDA’s software engineers use AI to assist them in writing software today. One of the most interesting thing that Jensen said at the keynote was that he believes that we will not only see software writing software but AI will be creating new AI. Basically, we will tell the AI what we want to analyze, to create, to happen and the AI will create new neural networks or even new AIs that will deliver on these tasks or new creations. Now, think about that for a moment. If AI is like a brain, then in the future this brain will be able to create new brains and to “evolve”. Is this a new life form? What are the implications for the speed of technology development (within NVDA and in general), for society, and for NVDA’s competitive position and growth as an investment?

How about for humanity’s competitive position and growth as an investment???
