It amazes me that mobile phones are such capable cameras. That shot is straight out of my iPhone 13 Pro Max. My wife’s Pixel 6 Pro takes incredible photos too.

The killdeer will lay eggs soon, if they aren’t in the nest already. If you get close to the nest, she will drag a wing and pretend to be injured to decoy you away from the nest. Of course, you shouldn’t bother her since she has more than enough work to do taking care of the eggs.

She laid her eggs just a few inches off of the bike trail. Should I have moved them further away fron the bike parh.
