METAR is where one should go for macroeconomic news, but since there are some here who may not be LTBAH on their portfolios, I figure I’d bring the following to your attention, for what it’s worth:

The US dollar index has just spiked .5% to the high for the past year: https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/index/dxy

Hold on to your pocketbook as this means the equity market is likely to get bopped in the nose - but you knew this already :slight_smile:

In the meantime, the budget deficit is at a high as is the trade imbalance and, while the Fed has held off a rate increase, that won’t last forever.

Global growth for 2019, as well as both US and Chinese growth has been dialed back.

You lost me on METAR and LTBAH. Don’t know what those are.

METAR is the Fool’s board titled “Macro Economics Trends & Risks”

LTBAH is “Long term buy & hold” (sort of the the philosophy of buying good stocks and holding them “forever” regardless of what the market does
