I’ll admit to being surprised by this, I thought it would end up being like the Americans
in Iraq: roll thru the country in conventional military battles, but then get bled
heavily with guerilla warfare during the occupation.

What cracks me up is, after invading Ukraine and reducing sizeable parts of some cities to rubble, Putin has the chutzpah to cry that Russia is a victim over Ukrainians hitting a few storage tanks.
