I got my Pfizer COVID shot last week for free, but the price printed on the Medicare form was $249.95 per dose. During the COVID pandemic, the US Gov’t only paid an average of $20.69 per dose.

Interesting - I just got my Covid booster and the price on the receipt shows Medicare billed $195. My flu shot was billed at $120.

It may depend on the manufacturer. I got the Pfizer Comirnaty Covid vaccine, $249.95 and the Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent flu vaccine for $140.00 – all paid by Medicare. Safeway also gave me two coupons for 10%-off my next grocery purchase.
I saw my Primary Care doctor today and she said I should get the RSV vaccine, too. It will be interesting to see what that’s priced at.

I got the RSV vaccine this afternoon. Free if you have Medicare Part B. Cash price for RSV vaccine was $349.99.
