One way to get rid of it is to disable Javascript. Years ago when ads would crap up TMF pages I got into the habit of turning off Javascript.
Good suggestion, thanks–but that breaks a LOT of things.
Kind of the nuclear option.
I guess I could get a plug-in that does it on a site by site basis.
Does it break the TMF text editor?
