I have always said the opposite of those who had it all wrong. We now have $31 tr in debt because those who had it wrong were easily lied to by others. Often people tried to shout me down. Now looking back no one tries to shout me down here locally in person. Instead the more intelligent ones totally get it.
Why would you delete your post? It makes perfect sense. The problem is that the free market cannot profitably provide housing to the bottom two quintiles of income earners, hence the housing insecurity so many lower earners experience in our society. The only way to address the unhoused and housing insecure population is through non-profit housing cooperatives, paid for with public funding. The problem is that this poses a direct threat to landlordism, and thus will always be opposed by the rentier class.

And even this may not work. NYC tried for decades and abjectly failed. They ended up with areas that looked like war-ravaged zones!
