prior to saas model


I know you just had long discussion around evaluation criteria.

I had been reading knowledgebase and understand your current criteria. However, I couldn’t locate your original evaluation criteria. the saas model is relatively new but you had been in market for far longer.

would be useful if you share some insights on how you used to screen companies in the past. I do remember you sold 3 weeks before 2000 crash because it was going up too fast. how you navigated those times. I do see you had great numbers then but we don’t have deeper insights on what drove your decisions then.

I am sure those criteria will not produce better returns then saas but perhaps reasonable market beating return with lower drawdowns.
