It just dawned on me that, as Russia destroys or steals Ukraine’s wheat, the West is being forced to spend more aid money - both to Ukraine and elsewhere. Their scorched earth policy will also cause long term major financial assistance to be an ongoing drain on Western resources. This may not hurt the West as much as they are hurting Russia, but every little bit counts.

It would be nice if the NYT would stop reporting where US and Canadian Special Forces are operating in Ukraine? Part of being “Special Forces” is not having every Ivan and Vlad know what you are up to!
