Searching for a Savings Account

Looking for a trustworthy bank that pays at least 3.5% interest. I’m at VioBank now, which I like, but I’m looking for a reasonable alternative. (Too long of a story to tell here.)

I’ve looked at Bask Bank and Upgrade, neither of which offers joint accounts at this point, but I appreciate any insight or input on those or others.

Not sure if you’re looking for savings / checking / CD rates at that interest rate.

Anyway, I’ve been a long term customer of Ally and have been happy with their competitive rates, low cost, and customer service (ease of use). They offer a number of savings type plans.

I use ufb Direct (Axios Bank) for Savings, currently 3.83% apy.

I originally opened an account in September at 2.6%, then in Oct they raised rate to 3.15%. Unfortunately the new rate didn’t apply to original account, so I just applied for a new account and did an internal transfer to the new account. Easy peasy. I just now did that again for the 3.83%
