This reminds me of a story Daddy told about when they inherited the farm.
They were tenant farmers for his grandfather. When the old man died, it was late for planting, so they had to hurry.
They tied a tractor with a rope and chain so that it spiraled into the field and disced the whole field overnight with the tractor running by itself.
Anyhow, I expect that small farmers will be building their own guidance systems instead of leasing them from John Deere.
