I am speculating that there are (will be) better investment options. If the stock were to trade back below $280 I might change my opinion.

tecmo, thanks to your post I will sell mine too.
I bought BRK calls several times this year, the biggest chunk ($290 & $300 Jan’25) at the end of Sep low, thanks to Jim’s post about his far higher central expectation 1 year forward. As I expected to hold those calls for a long time before reading your post I didn’t realize that BRK is already nearly there.

Yes it worked out well.
Sept 23 : BUY $146.00
DEC 15 : SELL $191.00
30% return in 3 months! One of my best trades of the year. As Mungo says - you make most of your money in bear markets! My only regret (in hindsight is that I purchased 1/2 the number of contracts I had planned for).
