While reviewing Skyworks I remembered that I had seen somewhere that Aldrich was stepping down as CEO, and that Liam K. Griffin had been appointed the new CEO.
I was very surprised to see minimal mention of the change on the board here. It was announced May 12 2016. The only post I could find was someone mentioned the news in passing when replying to a large drop in share price due to Apple.

Had this been announced prior? After looking at some initial Googling results, no one seems to care.
Normally this would be considered a big change. So does anyone have any thoughts on it?
