You expect lithium hydroxide to be made by electrolysis of purified lithium chloride producing chlorine and hydrogen as co-products. Purification of lithium chloride is likely to be by recrystallization from water–ultimately producing salt as a by-product. Depending on the impurities, the salt might be suitable as road salt.
