Tesla-Trust Us---

Tesla is now claiming that Cybertruck was the ‘best-selling electric pickup in US’ last year despite not even reporting the number of deliveries.

There’s a lot of context needed here.

As we often highlighted, Tesla is sadly one of, if not the most, opaque automakers regarding sales reports.
Hm Must be that exposure to the China way of doing things.

Tesla doesn’t break down sales per model or even region.

We are in a post-fact world now. Facts don’t matter. Just claim whatever serves you own agenda. This is particularly the case in a cult, like Tesla.

The “best selling electric pickup” is selling so well, Tesla decided to lower the price.

I see many Tesla Cybertrucks in my area now. Numbers keep increasing.

Tesla gets free advertising from articles like these. Meanwhile other auto companies are struggling and paying premium $ for brand awareness.

As long as Tesla haters keep emoting over Tesla’s failures Tesla is doing just fine. Thanks for keeping Tesla in the news for FREE!

About pricing, it’s not about the most you can squeeze from one vehicle but how much you can squeeze from total operations which means keeping operations lean and mean. Every extra car you sell is one less the competition sells.

Those that subscribe to writing crap without facts six months from now will feel their dog collars get very tight with a sudden choker movement on the leash they believe does not exist.

The American public attitudes are about to take a full 180.

Let’s hope the US economy recovers quickly. But it might take a lot of time.

Will a cowed media report anything counter to the official narrative? There were plenty of threats made to the “fake news media” on the last go around. What if regulatory and legal action is actually taken this time?

I think you can glean the sales information from recall notices. On a side note - in 2024, Teslas were the most recalled automaker in the US.

Forbes estimated 28,250 Cybertrucks sold as of October 2024, that seems high. It’s widely acknowledged by people who aren’t dirty, dirty lying scumbags that Ford sold more Lightning trucks.

But it’s kind of absurd because 99.74% of those recalled Tesla vehicles were fixed via an over-the-air software update. NHTSA is in the process of changing their rules regarding “software”-only updates. So far, they’ve changed the rules regarding notification of recalls that only require software, but they are working on more rule changes.

Did you see the hearings for the AG nominee? She didn’t even want to acknowledge the demand made of the Georgia Secretary of State to “find” votes, even though that demand is on tape, and widely played in the media.

We are entering an era completely divorced from facts. Only the narrative matters.

What you describe is a crisis of values. Integrity used to mean something. This isn’t something that can be fixed by hanging the Ten Commandments in classrooms.

Maybe we can convince social media companies to run “Spotlights in Character” content on their platforms. Ugghh, we’re kinda screwed.

“Values” has been used as a cloak for intolerance for at least 30 years. “Traditional American family values” are used as an excuse for anything from state enforced religion to homophobia and against equal opportunity for women.

The people will love when they state they have amnesia and turn on him. The public is going to learn to hate him.

Thinking of that 12 y/o on Epstein’s island. We are all her.

That’s what I mean. We need to get back to talking about honesty, integrity, humility, generosity, etc. While our society has never achieved 100% aspirational commitment to these core values, it seems like things are getting much worse.

For forty years, entities like Fox Noise vilified the POTUS who most represented those values. The thought leaders since have, mostly, been bigots. One of the bigots with the loudest mouth was awarded the “Presidential Medal of Freedom”.
