The Blind Side movie parents lied about adopting football star

… America thrives on skim and scam. The white family from Tennessee that “adopted” a black football star got the kid to sign conservatorship papers that allowed them to strip mine his earnings with outrageous management fees. They told him that “conservatorship” meant the same as adoption.

I’d forgotten that the book “The Blind Side” was written by the famous Wall Street fraud author Michael Lewis. If Lewis found the adoption fraud in his research for the book, it would have been an even bigger story. {{ LOL }}

New info: Apparently the “adopting father” Sean Tuohy is a High School buddy of Michael Lewis. Maybe Lewis is in the the scam?

Come to think of it, Lewis did portray the NCAA as a bunch of out-of-touch, over-reaching bureaucrats for investigating the Tuohy’s on suspicion of doing what they were actually doing.
