Couple of items on the wire this morning about prospective objections to the debt limit increase legislation.
The left hates it, because of the SNAP work requirement increase.
The right hates it, because it doesn’t cut spending enough.
As noted in the Michigan Medicaid work requirement proposal, the work requirement does not reduce spending. It only makes more cheap labor hours available to the “JCs”.
So, lets see how much the Shinies really want spending reduction: drop the work requirement, because it does not reduce spending, and cut something else instead…like fuel ethanol subsidies…heheheheh
