Well, sort of. The drop down a 200 ft concrete spiral staircase resulted in a shattered back, but the front screen was unscathed.

In contrast, an iPhone 17 Pro was destroyed, losing the front screen entirely, and suffering a catastrophic “explosion” of the body (not an actual explosion, but it LOOKS like it exploded!)

Well, maybe still covered by AppleCare? Likely denied coverage, not designed for flight testing! The Pro is heavier, paid the price… Both were bouncing off the rails, sides, I doubt any of us would survive such a fall, either…
