My hope is that we are not confusing Foolish Bravery with foolish stupidity. I think we are right, but there are a lot of social/economic national/international palpable pressures playing out.

But that’s always been true. There are always wars, disease, geopolitical crises, economic stumbles, etc. It’s always been true, and always will be true.
I have no idea how low things will go, or for how long they’ll stay low. But I do know one thing absolutely for certain: the market will recover and reach new highs in time. This time is not different
