Excuse me, but higher yields mean lower market value of the bonds. How does this make money for you?
Owning the bonds themselves and holding to maturity gives you better interest returns. But in a bond fund you need falling interest rates. That is not higher yield. Fed slowing interest rate cuts and large deficits seem to limit potential for continuing decline of interest rates.
