Yup. Saw a report from Fox Noise on youtube some minutes ago. The Fox report said they have the migrant issue fixed. They are working the drug issue.
Meanwhile, the guy with bad hair to the north, is digging in his heels. I don’t see mass caravans of brown people crossing the northern border, so the “illegal immigrant” problem seems a mystery to me.

Sheinbaum’s account differed from Trump’s.
“In our conversation with President Trump, I explained to him the comprehensive strategy that Mexico has followed to address the migration phenomenon, respecting human rights,” she said on X. “We reiterate that Mexico’s position is not to close borders but instead build bridges between government and people.”

I wonder whether the threat of tariffs is merely a negotiating position. I suspect the tariffs that he describes would start a high-inflation depression in the U.S. I’m prepared as well as anyone can be for that, but I certainly would not look forward to it with any optimism.

Seems like she’s changing course away from the Abrazos, No Balazos policy. The US could help by controlling the flow of illegal weapons into Mexico, instead there are whispers of invasion.

“Hugs, not bullets” policy? Thing is, does anyone think the USian “thought leaders” really give a hoot if Proles are offing themselves on dope? Or is this just another vector of the racist meme that Hispanics are all drug dealers, rapists, and murderers? Yes, TFG has proposed turning back the clock to 1916, and invading Mexico to dispose of a criminal element. Does anyone think that is a realistic proposal, or just more grandstanding against Hispanics?
