After a two-week battle against opposition from the platform’s board members, self-declared free speech absolutist Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and currently the richest man in the world, has succeeded in his bid to buy Twitter…

…In a press release, the Twitter board announced that they had reached an agreement with the multi-billionaire to sell 100 percent of the company at Musk’s original price of $54.20 per share…

…On the road to acquiring Twitter, Musk clashed with Twitter board member Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud of Saudi Arabia’s royal family, who opposed the takeover attempt.

The board also attempted to block Musk’s takeover by deploying a “poison pill” strategy, a corporate jiu-jitsu move intended to increase the costs of a takeover. It appears that these efforts have failed…

And the leftist are having a meltdown. Whaah, Boo-Hoo, etc.

“This is a key. Elon Musk as the white knight. Between this positioning and compelling second offer, it might be too much to turn down,” Solomon wrote in the email…

Someone from the SEC probably stopped by the board-room to talk to the Twitter Guys and explain the laws of a Public Company on the Stock Exchanges. Hello… this ain’t china or dubai.

There are sooo many articles and opinions about this… wow. Do a search and read some. An example is:

Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal is now attempting to walk the line so as to hopefully keep his job in six months when Musk takes over. According to The New York Times, during a meeting with employees on Monday, he attempted to calm the panic.

“He wants Twitter to be a powerful, positive force in the world, just like all of us,” Agrawal said. “He believes Twitter matters.”

The Daily Mail reports, employees have been told there will be no layoffs or major changes for the next six months until the deal closes.

Twitter can lock down their code to hide the truth all they want but the truth is, their actions have been so obvious, blatant and shameless that we don’t even need the code to understand the severity of the censorship they have used on the American people…
