I’m a 3 year buy and holder of TYL based on MF recommendations. I like the government software platform idea as far as stickiness, assuming the platform works, which creates more opportunities (a la AXON). Up until recently I had no interaction with their software. In the process of handling an estate of my late uncle in NC, I’ve gotten closer to the technology, primarily through the estate attorney’s point of view. Their take was that the software was upgraded to the 1950’s - harsh. Then I searched the web for the particular county (Guilford) and found there have been many issues, and calls to slow down the rollout. AI cites several sources that the government/public policy arm of Tyler has less favorable reception than their education field software.
My personal experience using their platform to search is disappointing, with simple searches not completing.
I realize any tech rollout can be painful and disruptive, but does anyone here have any experience with their technology?
