It is quite inane.

Trump campaigned on a promise that he will end the war. Americans voted to end the war. This is what he will deliver. PEACE.

Zelensky is an idiot who will be forced to come to the negotiating table. He is quickly realizing that the EU countries are all talk and no action.

Ahhh so Peace through war. :joy: :cowboy_hat_face:

Combined with a great „deal“ if possible - obtaining protection money, a bit like the Mafia.

Except with the Mafia, at least your protection money buys actual protection.

Yup.

The discussion took a sharp turn when a reporter asked Trump about Russia potentially breaking a ceasefire agreement. Instead of offering assurances, Trump brushed off the concern. “What if the bomb drops on your head right now?” he said. He went on to argue that Russia had broken agreements with previous US presidents but claimed, “They respect me.”

And the other necessary component was a massive in government spending paid for by borrowing.

1979: 20.1%
1980: 21.7%
1981: 22.2%
1982: 23.1%
1983: 23.5%

We’d call that “stimulus” today. Of course it was framed using the childishly silly promise that tax cuts pay for themselves. Modern day proponents of supply side economics point to the economic recover, but somehow “forgot” all about the enormous increases in spending and borrowing as if it never happened.

Today we have a different situation. As of January, the economy was growing, wages were up 2.5%, and inflation was just a bit above the Fed’s target.

Now the government’s policy is to bring down wages by mass layoffs in hopes of counter balancing the inflationary effects of tariffs. So maybe the inflation equation will equal out.

Imagine the optics; a military state, armed and in fatigues, frisking its people before they can fly.

Until it doesn’t, and then ‘whaddaya gonna do ‘bout it?’

Zelensky caved. Putin is acquiescing.

Warmongers are losing.

Small steps towards PEACE.

The losers are excited they screwed Zelensky and Ukraine over. They gave everything to Putin and now want to give up the U.S to Russia. This is the greatest shame of the United States ever.

He’s going for his third impeachment. This time the senate will be blue on 2027.

Americans want peace not WW3. Zelensky bent the knee as predicted.

Warmongers are so angry. Love it.
