I’ve seen estimates that unsupervised FSD will jump the monthly cost from $100 to $300/month. The average American drives 13,000 miles/year. That’s 28/cents per mile.
That would work for somebody operating a commercial Robotaxi, but Tesla will need a cheaper non-robotaxi price for non-commercial use to get much uptake.
Did I mention that an early tranche of Musk’s $1 Trillion pay package requires 10 million active FSD subscriptions?
