Dear Foolish Friends –

It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. After around 20 years of contract work with The Motley Fool, I’m afraid I must soon hang up my jester cap, at least for the time being. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, where I have served the community both as a Home Fool and as a contract writer for the site.

I will soon be starting a new role at my non-Fool day job that will require me to step away from my Fool-related contracts for the time that I am in that seat. The role itself is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I made the decision to at least give it a chance and see where things go.

It has been an incredible pleasure being a part of this community, and I am honored to have had the chance to do so. I believe I will still have access to some boards – likely on the Free side – and I’m open to connections on LinkedIn for any Fools that want to stay in touch.
