US growth seen outpacing China’s for first time since 1976 Despite high inflation, the US is being propelled by strong hiring and consumer spending.

The world’s second-largest economy will grow just 2% this year, Bloomberg Economics wrote in a report Thursday. By comparison, US gross domestic product will increase 2.8% this year, Bloomberg Economics predicts.

We can manage our inflation down to roughly the 2% level with higher taxes on the top bracket.

We can grow our real GDP numbers by much more than 2.8%.

We need to follow demand side econ.

Our recession probably will be shallow. Do not tell me you, generic, want to throw out the baby with the bathwater for low taxes on the super wealthy. Life does not work that way.
