The political ads on TV in Michigan are screaming about an EV “mandate” and how all the autoworkers would be kicked on the street as production shifts to China…which ignores the 100% tariff on Chinese cars.
Of course, even if it passed the Senate, the POTUS would veto it. There is still the open question, post Chevron overturn, if SCOTUS would declare the EPA’s regulatory authority unconstitutional.
