US to sanction Russian shadow fleet for oil exports

{{ The U.S. Treasury imposed sanctions on Russian oil producers Gazprom Neft (SIBN.MM), opens new tab and Surgutneftegaz, as well as on 183 vessels that form part of a shadow fleet that has so far allowed Russia to skirt sanctions to get its oil to global markets. }}

Of course, this could all change with a Putin-friendly Executive Order on January 20th. {{ LOL }}

This will mean increased gasoline prices. But that could drive further EV adoption.
Developing a reliable $25K-$30K EV for the US market space is the key for EV adoption. But there seems to be no interest by US or EU EV manufacturers in such a product. “Not enough profit” for such an item. Especially as high price EVs and IC pickups and SUVs continue to fly out the door.

He claims he is putin friendly but in reality he was not last time.

We squirm like fools for him. They love it.
