Waymo v Tesla Robotaxi unscientific test

3 runs each. Tesla encountered a fallen cone in the middle of the road, and driver took over to get around it, perhaps prematurely. By the time the Waymo got there, the cone had been moved and made upright, but Waymo handled it beautifully.

Tesla was faster on every drive, due to better optimized routes. Speculation that Waymo was avoiding certain streets/intersections.

I know Cruise used to map the route to avoid left turns. I suspect that Waymo is better but may do that as well.
