Yes, and imagine a global sanctioning of the worlds leading manufacturer, China, after invasion of Taiwan.
Will China collapse? Or will all the countries out there decide they cannot exist without imports from China?

I would be sorely disappointed in Xi if he was thinking that small. Why take over Taiwan when you are about to take over the world?

This is certainly interesting.
I checked out the source, samim.io, but it’s a mishmosh of assorted visuals, not a reputable research organization. No link or reference to the origin of the data.
Since samim.io is loaded with political/ social cartoons, it’s hard to say whether the graphic you linked is accurate or just another cartoon.

Today’s animation comes from the Lowy Institute, and it pulls data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) database on bilateral trade flows, to determine whether the U.S. or China is a bigger trading partner for each country from 1980 to 2018.

Qaz,
This map linked is far more important and puts all of that in perspective.
Wendy,
I originally saw the visual on Twitter and it took me a while to find a link. In the process I came across this link at the Visual Capitalist. It is simular but the graphic ends in 2018.

It would be interesting to see how the pandemic shifted things around.
