Why does it say I have a new post to view, but display nothing?

It’s known as an improvement and you should be happy you lost all your old friends and old groups that were very valuable but considered useless by the powers to be. Suck it up and put on your big boy pants. This is the new Fool.

So, my “problem” resolved itself after I refreshed my browser window. Perhaps it’s a browser-specific issue? I happen to be using the Vivaldi browser, which is based on Chromium.
