Fortunately, the younger generation is starting to question a lot of this propaganda. They’re not crazy. Follow the money and the “skim, scam and fraud.”
I love the name of the channel – “Holy Koolaid”

Naturalized US citizens have not been brainwashed with American Propaganda as much as those born and raised in US. During my engineering career at Westinghouse and Bechtel I saw that more than half the engineers were naturalized citizens from Europe and Asian. We non-US born engineers easily saw through the US propaganda, and we readily joked among ourselves about the gullibility of US-born engineers.
It was never our intention to dishonor US. We were all very happy to live in this big rich country that financed the winning of WWII and accepted so many of us to live and become American citizens. However, we were dismayed by some of the US propaganda feed to our children in schools and churches, and we were dismayed by similar propaganda promoted by our government and corporations in which we were employed. The colleges, universities and ethnic cultural organizations were a haven for our critical thinking and helped to blunt some of the fallacies of US propaganda.

What I noticed back in the '60s and '70s was that Venezuelan newspapers had a lot of international news missing in US papers.
The Captain
In my own case, I was educated in the second-best public school system in CT. We were given the education on these things.
The American public mostly knows these things. The more cynical matter is tax policy. The moment you ask for higher taxes, a majority of Americans shut down. In worst-case situations, they are waiting for a lottery win.
The really crazy thing is when a complete BSer talks about another country affording universal healthcare because we pay for their military umbrella. Americans aren’t paying attention if they believe that. But most Americans know better.
Flip that, and the Europeans back brutal dictatorships as if that is a social choice by backwards people. The arrogance of the Europeans to see it that way, i.e., Iran’s regime or Hamas, is stunning. Meanwhile, it is costing the EU $80 billion to fight Russia in Ukraine, but they find themselves allowing Russia in the Middle East.
The collapse will happen. But then the taxes will go up on the rich. The collapse won’t be permanent. It will be a rebirth.
Just because the American in the video figured out that a collapse can happen, is a rebirth unthinkable?
A recitation by a great actor of a magnificent short text well worth reviewing now: https://youtu.be/awsmXerhLqQ?si=I_20xyzuo8ZdRk68
Talking about “brainwashing”, UPS drivers have a “script” for their interactions with customers and the public. (I suspect that the script is meant to keep conversations short and productivity large.)

In 1966 in Cherry Hill, NJ, the neighbor was a milkman with a family of four kids and a stay-at-home wife. He owned his home.
The corporate tax rate was around 50%, and it was not worth it to the executive class to cash out because the top bracket was around 70%. Things made a lot more sense.
Note the UPS driver thinks it is utter garbage worth a laugh.
