ChatGPT: You want a new washing machine. ChatGPT recommends which model to buy. Who has best price. Where to buy. Will ChatGPT change retail?
Ask ChatGPT who makes the best hamburger in your zip code. You expect an unbiased answer based on published reviews. What you get is a short list of little known restaurants omitting the well known ones in your area.
Looks like ChatGPT is not unbiased. Money changes hands and some get listed first. Same as Google.

I discovered quite early that when asking Chat (or any of the other LLM engines) questions to include specific details - as many as possible - to get the most useful answers. Asking simply what is “best” has never worked for me.
For instance, I asked the very same question about burgers that you did, only I included just two additional parameters: what restaurants or vendors sell the best hamburgers based on all-beef patties and current (2025) reviews? Since I’ve lived in my town for decades and been to many restaurants, I kinda knew what I liked based on experience. Chat gave me exactly the locations I frequented and included a couple that I now plan to go to based on local reviews and more global awards.
Thanks for the burger idea! Chat wins again (for me).
