I bolded that part about “scraping your essence” haphazardly.

I have a FB account that I’ve not accessed in 8 years or so. I did NOT deactivate it. I just stopped accessing it.

In the last couple years, I randomly get “you are now friends with +person>”. Is someone else using my account? Or is FB just trying to goad me to access my account?
