Wpr101's June 2025 portfolio review

@Graydrake Thank you for the feedback. That is encouraging to hear you are getting a lot of insights from the videos!

I get most of my data from the default view on Koyfin. One of the reasons I like their default view is it has nearly all the top level financials I am looking to view: revenue, yoy revenue growth rate, EBITDA, EBITDA margin, net income, net income margin, gross margin, market cap, cash balance, and debt balance.

The view can also scroll back to the left to view more historical data. I ended up deciding to use 5 quarters as my standard because it shows the last year over year comp. Additionally, I typically view data going back longer than a year to have less value. Although for most companies I will scroll back on the longer timeline to make sure revenue wasn’t higher 2-4 years ago, or that there was a drop off in revenue prior.

I believe services like FinChat and TIKR provide comparable services and similar subscription fees. I got used to Koyfin over time and know how to navigate well there which is I why I gravitated to their platform.

If I size the window correctly on my laptop, I can get that full quarter view in a single panel which looks like this for Sezzle,

Thank you for your response.

Interesting. I inquired to Koyfin about the availability of the last four quarterly total revenue numbers and got feed back they were not available. I even got an email from Rob Koyfman a month or so ago saying this was in the works and would be available in a few months. My inquiry may have been the availability in portfolio format, so perhaps this is why there was a negative reply.

I have been gathering most of the info for my database in portfolio format from Seeking Alpha for years and get historical quarterly and annual total revenue manually for priority tickers from Nasdaq, Tikr or from company data. I update the entire database monthly. If a ticker meets my minimum criteria it stays in my database for a year, because the monthly update often triggers a renewed interest and reentry of a prior hold. The database typically includes over 100 tickers, with more detailed info gathered manually for about 40.

I have weighted metrics of interest and sum the “values of the metrics achieved” for priority tickers in categories of growth and affordability (value, profitability and debt). While the ranking score of “value of metrics achieved” does not trigger an entry it does trigger a more detailed look at the company. The metric weighting has been an ongoing evolutionary process.

While my process is consistent with Saul’s knowledge base guidelines for ticker selection, my entry and exit process deviates, which is the reason I do not post more often.

Thank you again.
