No. That is not the correct ownership of BYD. The most Berkshire ever owned of BYD was the initial 10% stake. That got diluted over the years to less than 10% and we are around 7.1% after the most recently disclosed share sales. Press often takes Berkshire’s % ownership of the Hong Kong listed H shares class of stock and presents there aren’t any other share classes to consider.
