I saw a recent YouTube video in Donetsk (pre-Russian invasion). The interviewer asked a small pro-Ukrainian militia group (about 6 - 10 rough-looking guys) whether they would be willing to join the regular Ukrainian army if the Russians were pushed out. They said no. These are dangerous, uncontrollable anarchic armed forces like those which have caused decades of havoc in other countries. They are a liability to re-establishing a peaceful Ukraine.
