A closer look at aging

https://youtu.be/dVCuUNsGifQ

This is a 1 hour 20 minute video consisting of 2 lectures. Both track aging to stem cell under performance.

The first is a micro look into how the stem cells work and what causes them not to work. This is a detailed look into the stem cell. I understood a lot of it, which is surprising as I did poorly in chemistry and have no biology training at all.

The second lecture is about the macro environment that the stem cells live in. The lecturer shows just how important a good lymphatic system is to stem cell health, and consequently aging.

The moderator asked some really interesting questions at the end.

While I don’t expect to be reset to 26 anytime soon, there some interesting possibilities way out on the horizon regarding aging and stem cells.

Interesting podcast. Kind of makes me wonder about a story I read some time ago that there are people alive today who will live 200 years.

Have you yet done research into companies which are actively working on anti-aging drugs? Or do you think that more specific targeting (anti-cancer, improved heart, etc.) would bring to market products more quickly?

The moderator mentioned, at the outset, that her fitness coach was harping on “work that lymphatic system!”. Have you researched that area at all?

I have no good commercial candidates now.
